Your subscription choices belong to you.

MAK uses your verified email address to manage your daily-post subscription. A mobile number is optional and is used for promotional WhatsApp messages only when you separately choose that option.

What is stored

Your email address, optional mobile number, verification status, chosen daily notification time and time zone, subscription preferences, consent wording version and the time those choices were recorded.

How it is used

After you verify your email, each day’s post is sent to that address at your chosen India Standard Time (UTC+05:30). Firebase Cloud Messaging can also deliver a device alert when you separately allow browser notifications. Promotional email and WhatsApp permissions are separate, optional choices.

Change your mind

A device-specific notification token is stored so that daily alerts can reach devices where you have granted permission. You can turn off push notifications in your browser or device settings at any time. To withdraw a subscription or marketing permission, email hello@makjal.com.
